Adirondack Audit Company Inc. has provided accounting and tax services to the greater Tri-Lakes area and surrounding region continuously since its founding in 1935. In that time, it has proven itself as a trusted, and enduring, presence: several of the firm’s original clients remain as clients today. The original owners sold the practice to John B. Huttlinger in 1967, and the firm has been managed by the Huttlinger family since then.
Our team of CPAs, public accountants, and staff have been instrumental in helping local businesses and nonprofits manage their financial affairs and tax filings efficiently and professionally—all while ensuring personal service and attention to each of our clients.
Accounting Associates of Lake Placid
Accounting Associates of Lake Placid is a bookkeeping and tax preparation service founded by Joseph L. Brooks in the 1970s. Following Mr. Brooks’ death in January 2012, John B. Huttlinger Jr. acquired the business, merging it into Adirondack Audit Co.
In order to serve the many clients from Lake Placid and nearby communities who have long relied on Adirondack Associates’ services, we continue to maintain the firm’s office on Saranac Avenue (Route 86).
