John B. Huttlinger Jr., CPA, MBA
Since 1986
John started his public accounting career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in New York City. After working as an auditor and region controller for International Paper Co. in New York, he returned to the Adirondacks in 1988 to partner with his father at Adirondack Audit Co.
John has served two terms on the board of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA), and has also served as the organization’s vice president. He is the 2017 recipient of the Michael H. Urbach, CPA Community Builders Award. This award, presented by the New York Council of Nonprofits, recognizes exemplary achievements of certified public accountants who serve in leadership positions on charitable organizations’ boards of directors. He has a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University

Kelly Adams
Since 1997
Administrative Assistant and Office Manager
Since 1997, Kelly has anchored the Accounting Associates of Lake Placid office. She is experienced in bookkeeping, payroll and sales tax services, and income tax preparation. She is knowledgeable of our client base and provides valuable support to our clients on many levels. Kelly played an instrumental role in ensuring a smooth transition when Adirondack Audit Company acquired Accounting Associates in 2012.
Cathy Wheeler
Since 2012
Senior Accountant
Cathy, an experienced public accountant and tax preparer, has been with Adirondack Audit since 2012. She has a wealth of experience with QuickBooks and in setting up accounting systems for clients. Previously, she worked in private industry with the American Management Association, Bombardier Mass Transit Corp., and others. She has a B.S. in Accounting (magna cum laude) from SUNY Binghamton.
